When I say that I love bargain shopping, I mean I LOVE bargain shopping. My mom and I make trips to Ross, Marshalls and T.J.Maxx pretty much every week. This past week, we seriously hit the jackpot at T.J.Maxx! It’s not often that they carry Lilly Pulitzer, but if you’re frequent shoppers like my mom and I, you can usually snag a few things, maybe a dress if you’re lucky. While we didn’t find a dress (well we did, just not my size unfortunately), we did find a few other Lilly items among other things.
How great is this Lilly Pulitzer tray, glasses and pitcher for summer? We were lucky that they had each item in the Lucky Charms print to make a complete and perfect serving set for any outdoor get-together. This print is one of my favorites so I definitely wasn’t leaving the store without it. The tray and pitcher were each $12.99 and the glasses were $9.99.
Sometimes, I get actual intuitions about a new trend coming out. Not saying I totally called the driving moc trend 2 summers ago, but I totally called it. I remember I was in a local shoe store when I tried on a pair white leather driving mocs and fell in love. From that moment forward, I dreamt of buying a pair for myself but just hadn’t found the right one, until now! How can you go wrong with a pair like this? They’re perfect for summer with a pair of shorts and will easily transition into fall. The brown is just the right shade and the tassels make it that much more amazing. I’ve tried on a few pairs of Coach shoes in the past and while super cute, I never found them terribly comfortable, but these are the exception. It’s like walking on actual clouds. While they originally cost about $110, we took them home for $59.99 which for Coach shoes is a great deal. My mom got them in cream with a perforated design which is great for any spring or summer outfit.
T.J.Maxx has really started to impress me with their jewelry section recently. You can pretty much find anything from beautiful sets perfect for formal events, to unique statement necklaces and even simple pieces like this one. One of my favorite parts about this necklace is the packaging. Bar necklaces have been in for a while but they tend to be horizontal tag necklaces. I think this is such a nice twist on the trend plus the little diamond detail really adds just enough sparkle. This necklace was $20 which I felt it was great price for something that will look good for when I have to dress up or when I throw on jeans and a button down.
Have you found anything good at T.J.Maxx recently?
