Happy Memorial Day everyone! Our family celebrated with a weekend at the shore and of course some delicious food! As usual, I was in charge of dessert and wanted to try making something new. I knew it had to include berries since not only are they in season, they are also the perfect patriotic colors! After some research I settled on making a summer version of tiramisu.
I replaced the traditional coffee flavor with lemon (a family favorite), lightened up the cream portion by forgoing the zabglione, and then added a layer of fresh berries. The end result was a great no-bake dessert that is one of my family’s new favorites!
