With only 20 more shopping days until Christmas, I’m starting to feel the pressure to check off all the names on my list. I take present buying very seriously and can easily spend hours searching for the prefect present for someone. With that in mind, I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite gift ideas for The Baker in your life!
Under $20
Wilton Color Right Performance Color System – I can’t wait to try out this new Wilton Food color set when I make sugar cookies in a few weeks. If the description and reviews are to be believed it will make getting that fire engine red a breeze making it a perfect gift for the cookie or cake decorator in your life!
Apple Corer Peeler Slicer – This is perfect for anyone who likes to make apple desserts. It makes prepping apples for pies, crisps, crumbles, and cakes a breeze!
Joseph Joseph Rolling Pin – My cousins got me this rolling pin a few years ago and I will never make another sugar cookie without it! The different size discs help you roll out your dough to the perfect thickness every time which makes rolling out pie crusts or cookies a breeze!
Under $50
Your Favorite Baking Cookbook – If you too are a baker you can really add a personal touch by giving your favorite cookbook. You might also want to consider adding a tool, pan, or gadget you like to use when making your favorite recipe! Not a baker? No worries, you can’t go wrong with gifting one of my favorite cookbooks for baking, Perfect Cakes or Martha Stewart’s Cupcakes!
Set of OXO Cookie Scoops – These cookie scoops are one of my most used gadgets in the kitchen. They are not only great for making cookies all the same size, we also use them to fill mini cupcake tins without a mess!
Specialty Baking Pans – While the baker in your life probably already has a nice set of basic baking pans, chances are they don’t have a ton of specialty pans. Some of my favorite specialty pans are my mini cheesecake pans and my cookie pop pans. Just be sure to stick with well known brands like Wilton and Chicago Metalic. When in doubt, it’s hard to go wrong with any of Nordic Wares bundt pans. Be sure to keep an eye out at places like Home Goods for unique pans at a discounted price!
Digital Measuring Cup – Digital measuring cups make measuring out flour, sugar, and oil a breeze with their quick converters. They are also perfect for recipes where precision matters like french macarons!
Collapsible Cake Carrier – If you live in an apartment like I do, these cake carriers are absolutely perfect. I have the round one and a rectangular one and I use them almost every time I bake.
Cookbook/iPad Stand – I just got this stand for my birthday and I am absolutely loving it. It keeps my cookbooks open to the right page and keeps my books and iPad safe from spills and grease marks!
Over $50
Whisk Necklace – While this might not be useful in the kitchen, it’s perfect for that special baker in your life! I know it’s been on my wish list ever since I saw my co-worker wear hers to work!
Kitchen Aid Mixer – When it comes to mixers, Kitchen Aid Mixers are where it’s at. I absolutely love my Professional model in Onyx, but for most bakers a Classic or Artisan model would work perfectly well for their baking needs! Be sure to pick a neutral color unless you are sure that they’ll like a tangerine or green apple mixer sitting on their kitchen counter!
