St. Patrick’s Day: What To Wear

Here I’ll just say it, I don’t like to wear the color green. It might have to do with the fact that I wore a green based uniform in school growing up or maybe because I wear hunter green scrubs day after day. All I do know is that when the weekend finally arrives, the last thing I want to wear is anything green which is pretty easy because I don’t actually own anything green. When it comes to St. Patrick’s Day, however, you kind of have to wear green. There’s not really any way around it. So I’ve put together a few options for you, whether you’ll be working at the office, heading off to a parade or hanging out at your local Irish pub. I’ve added some of my favorite green accessories too for anyone else like me who doesn’t want to be head to toe in green this St. Patrick’s Day.

StPatricksIdeas

(1) Bar Harbor V-Neck Eyelet Dress (2) Faux-Leather Crossbody  (3) Sequin Shamrock Tee

(4) Striped Jersey Knit Infinity Scarf (5) Retro Girl Bow Bracelet  (6) St. Patty’s Hair Tie Set

(7) Sueded Pointed-Toe Flat (8) Celtic Knot Charm Bracelet  (9) Shamrock Beads (Five Below – $1 for 2)

(10) St. Paddy’s Muscle Tank

When it comes to St. Patrick’s themed party accessories like the beads, definitely check out your local Five Below (or Dollar Store). My Five Below had cute hair bows, funny bow ties for the boys, silly headbands and sparkly shamrock face stickers (and almost all of these are $1-2). If you’re planning on a day of drinking whether it be at bar crawls or daylong parties, I definitely recommend grabbing a cheap shirt from Five Below as well. The options are pretty good and you really can’t beat $5 for a shirt. Best of all, if it gets spilled on or stained, you can just throw it out without a second thought.

So grab a pint of Guinness and put “I’m Shipping Up To Boston” on repeat because everybody is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.
