Whether it’s Father’s Day, our Dad’s birthday or even Christmas, we always have a tough time finding the right gift for our dad. So when he mentioned wanting The Big Green Egg, a smoker, grill and oven all rolled into one giant looking avocado, we jumped at the opportunity to finally get him something he really wanted. They come in 5 different sizes from mini to XXL ranging in price from about $400-$3500. It’s really cool being able to make a pizza, smoke ribs, and grill burgers on the same thing. Here’s our dad doing the best to contain his excitement.
With the Big Green Egg or if your dad has recently started trying to smoke things like ribs, we definitely recommend getting a rib rack.
It saves you a ton of space on your grill and allows you to cook more ribs at once, because is there anything better than more ribs? Didn’t think so.
If The Big Green Egg isn’t in your price range, here are a few grilling accessories that every dad needs.
Our time in Savannah, GA left us in love with Savannah Bee Company and their incredible honeys. Lucky for us, they have a honey specifically for grilling plus the perfect pot from Le Creuset already packaged up!
I really like this grill set because it’s very reminiscent of a tool box. Our dad is a true handyman of the house with too many tools to count. This is a fun way to play off of his tool obsession and the wood details are a great touch.
This contraption is actually a vertical chicken roaster. All you have to do is season your chicken accordingly and then pop the whole chicken right on top! The bottom dish is meant to not only catch any grease but is also used as an area to roast vegetables while your chicken cooks.
If you’ve been keeping up with our posts, you probably know that our family is really big on drinking craft beer, our dad being the biggest fan of us all. This Craft Brew based BBQ set is perfect for all the beer loving, grill master dads out there.
Hopefully, one of these gifts will help make your dad’s grilling dreams come true this Father’s Day!
