From Winter To Spring: Lilly & Gingham

With spring quickly approaching (but this cold weather sticking around), I am more than ready to put away the blacks, greys and blues that make up my cold weather wardrobe. It’s a little too soon to be dreaming about sundresses and flats, but there are plenty of ways to transition those winter staples to springtime ready outfits. Here, I layered my Lilly Pulitzer pink cable knit sweater with a black & white gingham button down .

I adore this sweater. I actually purchased it for $15 at my local thrift store. The color is so perfect to transition to spring while still keeping warm.

I paired it with my favorite pair of jeans and my LL. Bean Boots. These boots are really the only reason I survived this winter so far. They are so comfy, warm and timeless. You definitely don’t have to worry about these shoes going out of style.TDS_Post1-12

You’ll rarely find me not wearing my watch and Alex and Ani bracelets. TIP: If you’re looking to get a watch, definitely buy one that’s two-tone. It will go with everything. As far as my necklace goes, nothing takes an outfit from good to great quite as easily as pearls. This statement necklace is my go-to. Extra bonus: it was less than $15!

Hopefully, we will be saying goodbye to winter soon. Until then, you’ll find me in my brightest colored knits to remind myself spring is just around the corner.
