What To Wear: Easter

Recently, I’ve been pouring over the new Lilly Pulitzer Spring Line which has led to a few (okay, maybe more than a few) trips to their store. While trying on pretty much everything in Pink Colony, I came across this Alessia Maxi Henley Dress in Bright Navy For The Halibut print. I had first seen this dress a few months ago while reading one of my favorite blogger’s, Carly Heitlinger, from The College Prepster, post about her time in Caneel Bay. After recongnizing it from her blog, I decided I would try it on for fun. Once I put this dress on, however, I felt so comfortable and confident and knew I just had to have it. This dress is so great because while it looks great on the straigther shaped models, I felt I looked just as good despite being curvier. I absolutely adore this print because it’s got that Lilly vibe with sublter colors of reds and blues. The colors combined with a maxi length skirt and 3/4 sleeves makes it perfect for anytime of the year.

Here I have it paired with my gold Lilly Pulitzer Tassel Clutch, gold espadrille wedges I picked up at Old Navy last summer and a red and pink statement necklace I bought at Burlington Coat Factory the other day. My Alex and Ani bangles with my heart initial ring and Kate Spade bow ring finished off the look perfectly.

I wore the dress all day in Charleston when the weather was a little cooler. The fabric is thick enough to keep the wind from breaking through and I paired it with a white denim jacket when the temperature dropped lower at night.

SBDay3-8 SBDay4-2I’ll be rocking this look again for Easter since the weather will be cooler back up North and the bright fun pattern will have me looking ready for Spring.

  1. Will we be seeing a Lilly For Target blog this month?! The line is super cute…I was at the announcement party and it was to die for! All my money is getting ready to mysteriously disappear lol.
